  • Intranet Developer at DamilyChrysler Corporation��(Duration: Jan 1999 - Upto now)

    Incharge for global Intranet Application for DamilyChrysler Service Contract. Tools, which are mainly exercising in this project, are net.data and servlet to talk with the IBM OS/390 Mainframe machines. The development is under three-tiered application. Client is a window based machines, webserver is an IBM HP600 Unix machines and Database (DB2) is in a OS/390 mainframe. Direct call to Db2 tables from net.data, IMS transactions from mainframe to net.data, Java jdbc/odbc connections ,rmi and servlets method are being used in a different circumstances, based on the case study of scalable, performance, robust depending on the business needs. Clients data validation are mostly done by Javascript. CSS sheets, Layers and the new event model for javascript1.3 are being utilized. Server side validation are being exercised by servlets, net.data macros and cgi-scripts.

    Worked on an Intranet development for the Product and Process Development Office at FMCC. Utilized Fusion Methodology to apply the business model to the Internet application. Responsible for coding the application using HTML, JAVASCRIPT, and JAVA APPLETS and training of user for the application. The web component connected to a MetaData database in order to provide a dynamic effect for the overall site. Other duties included enhancing an online application called EBK. Worked with ORACLE 7.X and PERL SCRIPTS in a UNIX environment.
  • Software Engineer at GAO Research & Consulting, Ltd. ��(Duration: December 1997 � Augest 1998)

    Worked as a software engineer on a project to perfect sending sound packets across the internet. Developed a T.30 protocol according to the ITU's Group3 standard for internet communications. Utilized ADSP21xx family, C/C++ languages and object techniques to build the application. A beta version of T.30 protocol and fax-relay were created by fixed point C programming language and checked with non-real-vectors. Utilized testing tools such as EVB shell, EZKIT using C and ASSEMBLY. Worked on a Java based database building GUIs using VISUAL CAF� developer software from Symantec. Utilized VISUAL CAF� foundation classes to develop the basic forms and grid-bag layouts, border layouts, card layouts, and flow layouts to control the components within the frame. Positioned dialog boxes, windows, panels, buttons, text boxes, text area, list, choice, labels, check buttons, image buttons, and animator buttons to enrich the user interface. A JDBC driver was used to connect the production ORACLE database to the JAVA front end. The demo version was developed using COLD FUSION, HTML, PERL, JAVASCRIPT, and MS ACCESS on a WINDOWS NT local server. The client/server application was designed to send a sound wave using JAVA for testing purposes to a given IP address from a Windows API.
